Why cant i pickpocket hagara

The stealth trip was way too difficult for my girlfriend. So heres what we did. We found another rogue on the same step and made a party of 3 rogues me, gf, other guy. Other guy had a mage friend and what we did was we went directly in front of the bridge thats directly in front of the boss, flew up as high as we could and the mage would dismount slowfall one of us then himself to save his life.

The person would then fly forward and dismount then remove slowfall at such a time that would result in death in front of the bosses area falling into the bosses area would teleport you out. I recommend having a repair bot just in case but get the idea. It was nice that one of us had glyph of blind to stop the fight with a blind so we could heal. Pretty sure 2 under geared rogues could pull it off with some coordination.

So now the hard part Comment by Tested and confirmed that pickpocket item resets on boss respawn, get 1 of your many rogues to agro and vanish and the item is lootable again.

Comment by whitehusky An easy way to reset this boss so more than one Rogue can pick pocket her without resetting the raid and trash is to just have a Rogue or Hunter aggro her where she won't aggro to the rest of the raid, of course and then Vanish or Feign Death. She'll despawn. When she respawns, her pockets will have reset and the next Rogue can get their quest item.

Comment by Syber You can actually summon rogues in from outside the raid to come in to pickpocket her. Have a druid go in and attack then Shadowmeld so she can reset. She will respawn with another ring in her pocket. I was able to stealth past him with no troubles, but upon reaching the temple, I found it was phased. No dragons to ride to other bosses, no Lord A.

If you'd thought about trying this, just to get the quest in your log ready to go - save your time. Flying to Wyrmrest Tower in Dragonblight will not get you the quest. You need to clear trash before Hagara will come down from her floating platform where she is not target-able. At this point you may stealth up behind her and Pick Pocket her for the ring.

You have to be in the raid, but may be summoned in just for this, as long as you get the quest from the beginning. If you where not with the raid from start. You can take portal back to top, then right portal to bottom to pick up quest also, same place you turn it in to get A Hidden Message A Hidden Message.

I just want to clarify this in a single post. Please at least upvote this so other noob rogues like myself can rest assured that we can at least get the 1st stage of the daggers with minimal difficulty.

Comment by I have a trial account with a level 10 hunter I use for forming a raid group when I do my weekly Molten Core run.

I made a raid group with that character, walked into Dragon Soul, the guy giving the quest is right at the entrance. Next I'll have to see if you can get the decoder ring through LFR.

Will raid reset fix it? Comment by since no one has bothered to point out this quest actually starts at the beginning of the dragon soul raid. Lord Afrasastrasz is in side the raid at the beginning off to the right standing by a bunch of people. You can only get the quest from him inside the raid.

I have was doing the Seige of wyrmrest and fall of deathwing raids using the lfr, but i see someone posted that u can't use that if u want to pick up the raid. I also saw that as a rogue you can enter the dragon soul raid without being in a raid party, this is false.

Can some please tell me specifically what i need to do to get this quest and start my fangs of the fathers quest? BTW i am a level 85 sublety rogue ilvl in case that helps. On my rogue, I went into Dragon Soul to kill the first four bosses. After taking down the first boss, I could talk to Lord Afrasastrasz on the first floor of the Wyrmrest Temple.
